On Thursday, tvNŌĆÖs Alchemy of Souls: Light and Shadow dropped new still photos of Hwang Minhyun, who plays the role of Seo Yul. Alchemy of Souls is a fantasy romance drama set in a country that doesnŌĆÖt exist in history or on maps. It follows the protagonists whose fate has been twisted due to the soul-shifting magic. Set three years after when Part 1 ended, Part 2 tells the story of the mages and Jang Uk, whoŌĆÖs returned from the dead. The released stills show Hwang Minhyun, whose face has turned conspicuously haggard. His piercing eyes herald his comeback as a man struggling in pain that others donŌĆÖt know about. In the second season, Hwang Minhyun will showcase an impressive presence, going back and forth between a man facing a crisis and a pure-hearted man who still keeps his first love in his heart.
